If you could choose your own name, what would it be?
I'm not sure, but I do currently use Mimi as my online alias. However, I don't think I'd actually want that as my real name, though I do find that Meems, short for Mimi, is an adorable nickname. :)
If you could dream about anything tonight, what would it be?
I don't want it to be something that would seem too good to be true, because then I'll wake up feeling all disappointed and sentimental that my dream couldn't last longer. Either that or I'll end up being pissed off at whatever woke me up (the cleaning lady?).
Why are you loyal to certain brands/stores? What keeps you coming back?

Price, quality, style/design, or perks. It's always one or a combination of these factors that keeps me coming back. For example, those that know me well know that I'm a die-hard fan of Victoria's Secret. Why? I love their fragrances and how they're designed. I also love the styles and quality of their clothes. Not a big fan of their price tags, but they do offer sales and special perks often, so I guess that makes up for the expensive prices.
In this economic climate, not all employers are able to give raises. What perks would make you happy in lieu of a raise?

They could make the work environment more friendly and relaxed. If I'm going to be stuck there for longer hours with more work but the same pay, the company could at least try to make my time there more enjoyable. Perhaps a less strict dress code? More flexibility with breaks? Having a fridge full of yummy snacks for us? Anything that will make my time there seem less stiff and "work-like" (even though it is still work).
Or better yet, provide discounts towards various retailers and services. I wouldn't mind receiving a discount (or even free) membership to the gym or a gift card for H&M. Of course, I'm guessing that the type of discounts we receive will depend on the type of company we work for, but these are always nice :)
What are some of your favorite, forgotten albums that have stood the test of time?
Submitted by PeterGibbons.
Definitely the 2 Spice Girls album; Spice and Spice World. It's been almost 7 years, but I can still take out their cd's and listen to them and never get tired of it. As a matter of fact, I still have some of their songs on my mp3 player. Ah, the good ol' times.
Do you play any musical instruments?
I play the flute...kind of. I mean, I used to play it in band in 7th grade, then stopped after moving back to Taiwan. It was weird though, because no one taught me how to play, I just picked it up myself. And I swear, I could actually read those notes. o_o
I bought a flute in 4 years later, and I play it from time to time. My note reading ability seems to have disappeared, but I can still play. Sort of.
What's your favorite foreign accent?
Definitely the British accent. Very sexy, no? xDD
If you could watch any movie on the big screen right at this moment, what would it be?
The Covenant. Because I've been dying to see that movie ever since it came out. *broomed* xDD;;
What is your favorite children's movie?
Definitely the Disney classics. I especially loved The Lion King and The Little Mermaid, the prior being the first movie I saw big-screen and the second for the wonderful songs. I also liked Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast. I remember Aladdin used to have these cartoons and I wouldn't be able to watch them because I had swim lessons. So my mom would tape them for me, and i'd watch it when I got back. Ahh...good memories. :33
Oh and Sleeping Beauty was good too. Aurora used to be my favorite Disney princess, but now it's a tie between Ariel and Jasmine. Mulan, Toy Story, Finding Nemo, and Bambi were good too, though I wouldn't consider them classics.
On a second thought, I've yet to see one Disney movie that wasn't to my taste. :D
What are your plans for the holiday weekend?
Catch up on sleep. Seriously. I have been absolutely sleep deprived since I started school. It's not that I don't get my homework done, it's usually because I end up talking to friends online till 11. And I have to get up at 6:15 the next day. Not good at all.
The first thing I did today when i woke up was roll over and forced myself to fall asleep again. You can never get enough sleep. xD
The second thing I had planned for the weekend but didn't really end up doing was spending more time with Eric. Bleh. But I am waking up extra early tomorrow so I can spend some extra time with him. :3 It's his last day here and I can always catch up on that sleep on Monday.
